Perthshire is easily accessible from both Edinburgh (EDI) and Glasgow (GLA) airports, both of which have direct connections to Birmingham airport.

By Road

Perth is served by the motorway network (M90).  A guide travel time by road from south Staffordshire to Perthshire would be about seven hours.

 

By Rail

Perth has a mainline train station and is served by routes from Glasgow and Edinburgh.  Rail journeys from England would require at least one change (likely Edinburgh/Haymarket).

Scone is about three miles north of Perth and the palace is well signposted.

From the East: A90 direct from Dundee to Perth.

From the West: M80/A9 from the Glasgow area to Perth.

From the South: M90 from Edinburgh.

From the North: A9 to Perth.

 

By Rail

Perth train station has direct connections from Dundee, Edinburgh Waverley, Glasgow Queen Street, as well as Aberdeen and Inverness.
