Accommodation

Perth

Perth and the surrounding area are the most convenient locations to base yourself in whilst attending the wedding. The city is well provided for in terms of accommodation and has the full range of options available.

Here are some of our suggestions.  We will continue to update this page as we discover more options for you.

Murrayshall
Country House Hotel

We have negotiated a special rate for the wedding at Murrayshall Country House Hotel, near Scone.  (About 10 minutes by road.)

The normal rates for the hotel are about £300/night, but the wedding rates are:

Standard double room - £150 incl. breakfast

Superior double room - £160 incl. breakfast

Deluxe room - £170 incl. breakfast

As of 19/08/21, there are seven standard, one superior, and one deluxe rooms remaining.  Suites are also available but on general release.

The wedding party plan to stay at Murrayshall before and after the wedding.  Please note: there is a two-night minimum stay.   If you are considering Murrayshall, please book at your earliest convenience by phone direct with the hotel quoting the Fulton & Marshall wedding.  The deposit for all rooms is only £25.

Here are some other options in Perth and the surrounding area:

There is a Travelodge on the opposite bank of the river to the city centre, which is en route to Scone.  Rate is about £40/night.

There is also a Premier Inn in the city centre.  Rate is about £60/night.

You will find similar options outside the city as Perth is a major connection point for several of Scotland's main roads, so has motorway services.

Other options include:

The Salutation Hotel

The Station Hotel (at Perth train station)

Although Perth will be the closest location, there are some other good options.

Dundee

Bonnie Dundee - the city of Discovery - about 20 minutes from Perth, has some fantastic accommodation options, including Hiltons, Holiday Inns, and Apex, coupled with the best views across the Tay.

North-East Fife

Ross's home area hosts world famous St Andrews.  As an international tourist destination, it has every type of accommodation you could think of and would be a great base for your visit. A bit further afield, it's about 40 minutes from Scone.

East Neuk of Fife

If you want to make the occasion into a break, the East Neuk could be for you.  A string of traditional (and beautiful) fishing villages just to the south of St Andrews.

Not much further in terms of distance, but its rural nature means travel time will be around an hour or a bit more.

Other Cities

Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Stirling are all relatively good options with travel times of around an hour or so, but with distances of 50 miles +.
